Almost every one of them has said the same thing: “I know someone I love who really needs this.” And after volunteering, they end up leaving with something even more powerful: connection, purpose, and the satisfaction of knowing they helped someone feel less alone in a confusing digital world. We’ve heard it time and again: “I thought I was here to teach…but I ended up learning the most.”

Opt-Inspire’s program was thoughtfully developed by privacy, cybersecurity, and legal professionals who understand both the risks seniors face and how to translate complex tech concepts into clear, empowering language.
You don’t need to be a techie or a lawyer to volunteer, just someone who believes in our mission. We provide simple, well-vetted materials and hands-on training to make sure you feel confident and supported every step of the way.
But if you are a privacy, legal, or tech professional? Even better. We’d love to have you bring your expertise to the table—whether you’re leading sessions, helping shape content, or supporting behind the scenes.
We’re proud to share that Opt-Inspire presentations are officially approved for IAPP Continuing Privacy Education (CPE) credit!
Volunteers are eligible to receive:
• 3.0 CPE credits for delivering their first presentation
• 1.0 CPE credit for each additional delivery
These credits apply to the following IAPP certifications:
CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CIPP/C, CIPP/A, CIPP/CN, CIPM, and CIPT
