About Us

Who We Are

Opt-Inspire, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit reimagining digital safety education—delivering it directly to seniors, kids, and families who need it most. Instead of simply making resources available, we seek to embed them into the communities that need them the most.

Through in-person & virtual workshops, tailored toolkits, and direct hands-on support, we mobilize cybersecurity, privacy, legal, and tech professionals to close the generational digital divide // one conversation, one device, one life at a time.

We meet people where they are – empowering seniors, children, and the families who love them to stay safe, confident, and connected in today’s online world.

Whether you’re here to volunteer, help someone you love navigate the digital age, or bring our mission to your community, you’re in exactly the right place.

Meet Our Board

Opt-Inspire’s Board of Directors consists of a multidisciplinary team of legal, tech, and community leaders driving Opt-Inspire’s mission to make digital safety more accessible, effective, and real-world ready for every generation.

In Their Words

We could tell you how impactful our workshops are, but we’d rather let the communities speak for themselves. So far, the response has been clear: these sessions matter.

“Thank you so much for coming in yesterday! … they really enjoyed having you come out and talk about how to stay safe from scams. They certainly had a lot of questions! Our members are very high functioning independent living residents! Some time it is hard to break away from the stereotype of a senior living community, but we are more like a 55+ community. A lot of our members came from living on their own/still run their businesses. Our youngest member is 60 I believe then it goes to 94! … We would love to get something on the books quarterly!”

Senior Living Community Activities Director

“I heard nothing but amazing feedback from those who attended. I think having you come bi-yearly would be great and helpful for our residents.”

Senior Community Life Enrichment Programs & Partnerships Manager

“I graduated from the University of Illinois Law School in 1967, and that was the best presentation on electronic media I’ve ever seen. Bar none.”

“The presentation on scams … was great! Residents found it very informative. His examples were relatable and he was very engaging throughout the presentation and spent time afterwards conversing with residents.”
